Quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in for service - Sala Lodges is an exceptional boutique hideaway in the heart of Siem Reap, just a short drive from the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor. Unlike many resorts in the area, Sala Lodges offers something utterly unique: a collection of beautifully restored traditional wooden Khmer houses, each thoughtfully set on stilts amidst verdant gardens, offering a sense of tranquillity and timeless charm that is incredibly hard to find elsewhere.
